Thankfully, due to extreme unresponsiveness from the original company, I was forced to look for another company, and I contacted Spring Kings Garage Door Service. From the start, Elijah, the owner of Spring Kings, was amazing to work with. I’d received a quote from the first company, as well as catalogues, so I knew what I wanted and had a ballpark cost in mind. Elijah came to look at the garage door, reviewed the situation, and provided options. By completion of the first visit, a much better garage door style was suggested, I knew exactly what to expect from a timeframe perspective, and what to expect the day of installation. Elijah also discussed add-on security options that I wanted to include with the garage door install, and being an extremely honest owner, politely suggested alternative, less expensive, options. By that same evening I received an email with a breakdown of everything we’d discussed, and an electronic invoice that I could accept online, and eventually pay online upon completion of the install. I received confirmation that the garage door was ordered, and that the new door would take from 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. Not leaving us with a broken door, Elijah was back the next day to install a temporary solution, ensuring the existing garage door was functional until the new door arrived. The new garage door was installed exactly 6 weeks from the date the door was ordered. Elijah installed the door himself, arriving exactly on time as scheduled, and finishing the job very quickly within 5 hours. Elijah was a complete professional and I highly recommend Spring Kings. One of my springs had broken the previous evening on my 2-car garage door. Elijah came out within 2... read more hours of my initial call, provided an accurate estimate over the phone, proactively sent text messages prior to his arrival and was on time. He completed the work within 30 minutes or so, and went above and beyond in a couple of ways. He noticed that the previous springs were a bit undersized and therefore wound too tight, and so he made sure to install the correct springs for the door instead of just replacing exactly what was there before. He also evaluated my other garage door which was not broken and noticed that the power cable was rubbing against the chain (which could have led to a short at the very least or a dangerous electrical issue). I did not notice this as a homeowner and appreciated Elijah not only identifying this but fixing it as well. I would without hesitation recommend Elijah and Spring Kings for any garage door work needed in Longmont or the Northern Colorado area.
